An Act to Amend the Order of New Brunswick Act

His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Section 11 of the Order of New Brunswick Act, chapter 199 of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is amended by striking out “ten individuals” and substituting “five individuals”.

2 Section 15 of the Act is amended

(a)  in subparagraph (1)(b)(i) by striking out “of the Executive Council” and substituting “of the Executive Council or their designate”;

(b)  in subsection (2) by striking out “subparagraph (1)(b)(iii)” and substituting “subparagraph (1)(b)(ii)”.

3 Section 18 of the Act is amended

(a)  in paragraph (c) of the English version by striking out “and” at the end of the paragraph;

(b)  by adding after paragraph (c) the following:

(c.1)  at the direction of the council and subject to its approval, establish criteria and guidelines for the selection process for use under extraordinary circumstances, and
